Abstract

This study was undertaken to determine whether arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal host specificity occurs within local sites. In addition, ecotypic variation in Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) and Indiangrass (Sorghastrum nutans) from two sites was described and the responses of these hosts and their symbionts to drought was assessed in a greenhouse study
