Konza Prairie LTER Featured Graduate Student - Smriti Pehim Limbu

Smriti Pehim Limbu is a PhD student in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science at Johns Hopkins University.

She did her B.S. in Agricuultural Sciences from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and an M.S. in Soil Sciences from North Carolina State University.

At present, she works with Dr. Meghan Avolio and her work primarily focuses on global change effect on grasslands. She is interested in field/lab experiments, and data synthesis to understand the grassland change due to global change drivers.

While not working, Smriti enjoys reading old literature, hiking, writing poetry, and watching movies. You can contact her at slimbu2@jhu.edu.
